取水的人一使勁，繩子磨得生疼，一句 pull me in（把我拉上來）喊出口，繩子卻早被丟了下去；水就在眼前，卻是 It's so close, but so far（近在咫尺卻夠不著）。接著大家聊起天啟：就算真是天啟，We're gonna get through this（咱們能挺過去）。想學怎麼用英語說「近在咫尺卻夠不著」和「熬過這一關」，這段戲很典型。

重複 so 造成拉鋸感，把看得見喝不到的絕望一句說完。
so close but so far
明明很近卻拿不到、成不了時用；對正在失望的人說要注意語氣別像幸災樂禍。
