意思是「無法實現的、無法滿足的」。臺詞裡 unfulfillable longing 指那種永遠填不滿的渴望，unfulfillable 由 fulfill 加否定字尾構成。
remarkable。He's remarkable, Majesty 就是「他非常了不起，陛下」。remarkable 語氣比 good 強，常用來夸人或作品非同一般。
字面是「音符太多」。宮廷裡有人這樣挑剔莫札特的歌劇，嫌他用音符太多、太花哨，其實是在貶低他。
意思是「只會表演的傢伙」。臺詞裡說 This was no composition by a performing monkey，強調那曲子絕不是隻有技巧、沒有靈魂的人寫得出的。
