as it is 指「就現在這樣、維持原樣」，as it was 指「就像當時那樣」。臺詞裡說 Deathtrap is pretty good as it is，就是「現在這樣就挺好，不用改」。
不是，是誇張說法，指「天大的財富、取之不盡的財寶」。臺詞裡說對方會以為自己有了這種財富。
wet-nurse 本意是奶媽，這裡指「像保姆一樣手把手扶持、替人兜底」。臺詞裡是嫌替一部沒把握的戲做這種事不值。
