法律用語，指「合理懷疑」：證據不能讓人確信有罪時，就存在合理懷疑，不能定罪。有人質疑對方根本不懂這個詞。
口語說 Even Steven，也可以說 even-steven。指比分或賬目正好持平，誰也不欠誰。
