用 came down to，表示「歸結為、最後就看」。戲裡 it all came down to one thing 就是「說到底都歸結到一件事上」。
意思是「想出、拿出辦法或主意」，後面接被想出來的東西：came up with a radical solution 就是「想出一個極端的辦法」。
表示「挺諷刺的」，常帶一點無奈或冷嘲。戲裡官員用它總結：人們為自由打過仗，最後卻選擇去做奴隸。
意思是「讓你的生活值得一過」。worthwhile 指「值得花時間的」，句裡常放在 make your life 後面，勸人找點真正有意義的事。
