come down to 是「歸結為、取決於」，用來說明事情最終繫於某一點。臺詞裡說這是你家，所以 it comes down to you，就是「就看你這個當家人的了」。
look out for someone。look out 有「留神」的意思，look out for someone 就是「替某人留心、為某人著想」。臺詞裡說 I'm just looking out for you，就是「我只是為你好」。
a mess。mess 本是「混亂、爛攤子」，形容人時 a mess 就是「一團糟的人、狀態很糟的人」。臺詞裡說她 she's a mess，跟中文的「她是個亂攤子」意思接近。
