有人把艾莉森領進一屋室友，誇完懷孕又問她怕不怕。對方一句 another day at the office（把亂當成平常一天），把滿屋怪話說成日常。廁所的話當著外人炸開，接著一句 have a great evening（祝對方晚上愉快），人就起身走了。亂的時候裝沒事，走的時候用客套收場，這兩句比翻臉好用。

有人開門請進來，先點出艾莉森和傑森，誇懷孕用 responding really well（對某事適應得很好），又點出喬納、馬丁和喬迪。有人問怕不怕，對方把場面收成 another day at the office（把亂當成平常一天），亂也能說成日常。後來吃的歸誰成了話題，you got to share（不想分也得分出去）是不想讓也得讓出一份。廁所的話越來越髒，有人嫌當著外人講這些，用的是 in company（當著外人在場）。接著甩出 have a great evening（祝對方晚上愉快），後面就是走吧。客套照樣能把一個難堪的晚上收住。誇適應、把亂說淡、讓出一份、當著外人、客套告別，這幾句在聚會上都用得上。

最髒的句子突然接上毛絨玩具，反差把噁心頂成笑話。

前半句快說帶過，stuffed animal 兩個詞慢慢說清楚。

兩個「好」疊在標準祝福裡，越體面越聽得出要走。

第一個 great 往下壓，evening 拖長，當告辭說。
Oh, great. I hope you have a great dinner without me. 哦，很好。祝你們晚飯愉快，我不奉陪了。

說 in company。有人講難堪的廁所話題時，對方說 You're embarrassing me in company，就是當著外人在場讓我丟臉，不是在談公司。
不是。前一句還在說生孩子 It's gonna hurt a lot，還點到 vagina，下一句就是 That's so sick。這裡 so sick 是噁心，不是在說酷，用來接一句聽不下去的話。
有人問 How's it going? You wanna toke?，toke 是抽一口，多指大麻。對方回的是 No. I'm good. 不想接這一口，說 I'm good 就能擋回去。
前一句猜你氣寶寶搶走吃的，還模仿著說 Oh, it's mine, not yours。緊跟著 because you're family, you got to share。you got to share 是不想分也得分出去，這裡指吃的也得讓給家人。
這句是 Oh, great. I hope you have a great evening! 意思是祝對方晚上愉快。下一句就是 All right. Let's go. 再下一句是 See you guys later. 爭吵沒被道歉接住，人用一句客套把晚上收住了。
