out of respect，表示因為尊敬對方才做某事。鄰家孩子一路幫亨利的媽媽提東西，他說就是 It was out of respect。
one on one 指一對一、單獨談，不放別人在場。保利最討厭一群人開會，什麼事都 one on one，為的是不讓旁人聽見。
wait in line，就是排隊。戲裡亨利說自己有靠山，週日早上去買麵包都不用 wait in line，老闆會先招呼他。
wiseguy 是黑幫行話，指混江湖的人。整句意思是「江湖人的警察局」，用來說保利一夥給不敢報警的人提供保護，像另一套執法系統。
