going to 縮成 gonna，重音在 magazine 和 me，二選一處停頓。

行了，別又翻來覆去說這些了。
用 let's not 把「你別說了」包裝成「我們別說了」，既叫停爭吵又給對方留面子。

想叫停反覆爭吵、把話題拉回來時能用；對方正需要把話說完，急著用這句會顯得敷衍。

come down with，後接病名。come down with a cold 就是「得了感冒」。亨伯特說自己 coming down with a cold，就是「我恐怕要感冒了」。
意思是「嚇人的、瘮得慌的、噁心的」，比 ugly 語氣重。洛麗塔嫌亨伯特送的花難看，說 What gruesome flowers，就是「這花真難看」，故意傷他。
exchange confessions。confession 是「坦白、心裡話」，互相交換就是交心。亨伯特酸溜溜地說 the two of you have been exchanging confessions，暗指護士和洛麗塔揹著他講私話。
