街頭有人攔住兩人，不提錢，先說 I would like to make a deal with you（想跟你做筆交易）——你給一個詞，他寫一首詩，喜歡就 pay me whatever you feel like（隨便給點）。詩唸完，有人覺得寫得妙，又有人懷疑只是把詞塞進模板。談條件、定價錢、半信半疑地吐槽，這幾句日常都用得上。
發生了什麼
街頭有人不開價，先提出交換：不給錢，給一個詞，他把它寫進詩裡；要是覺得詩 adds something to your life（為生活增添價值），就隨便給點。這是 make a deal with（跟某人做交易）的現場版。等詩的工夫，有人聊起好勝心，說打檯球時一股勁 come over me，非得贏不可，也就是 come over someone（某種情緒突然襲來）。詩唸完，有人說 That's wonderful（真棒），另一句說他多半隻是把那個詞 plug in（塞進去）；被問 What do you mean（你什麼意思），回的是 Nothing.
