頭一天跟車，阿隆佐帶傑克撬開一把鎖，翻出二十五萬現金。遞來一句 a piece of this（分一杯羹），試探他敢不敢伸手拿錢；轉頭又有人把這事說成 taxation without representation（交稅卻沒代表權），像在說 Nothing is free in this world（世上沒有白拿的東西）。接著有人編了個「殺過人，對方死後就得做你奴隸」的鬼話，逼傑克開槍，傑克下不了手。槍被拿回去，只丟下一句 get shit done（把事辦成）——想辦成事就得自己動手。想勸人別裝清高，或聊錢和原則，這幾句都好用。

字面是「交稅卻沒代表權」，本是美國獨立戰爭時的老話。這裡被拿來當分錢的藉口：錢我拿了，你也說不上話。
