無底洞上橫著一座看不見的橋，槓桿卻在對面。巴利忙著給伊恩打氣，說 the worst that can happen（最壞能壞到什麼程度）也不過如此，還甩出 I'm just saying（我就是隨口一說）來打圓場。想給自己壯膽、又不想把話說滿，這兩句都用得上。

兄弟倆走上危險小徑，先遇到無底洞上的古吊橋，槓桿偏偏在對面。巴利用「信任之橋」咒語鼓勵伊恩：只要相信橋在，腳下就有橋；他還先讓伊恩從繩子上摔一次，說這樣就知道最壞也不過如此。伊恩最後真的踩著看不見的橋走過去。想學三句：I'm just saying（我就是隨口一說）用來軟化語氣，bottomless pit（無底洞）形容填不滿的窟窿，There you go（這就對了）是鼓勵人時最順口的一句。壯膽、打圓場、鼓勵朋友都能用上。
A1–C2 是歐標等級。點一個等級後，比它高的卡片會變淡，播放到那裡不會自動暫停。
“If you believe the bridge is there, then it's there.”
只要你相信橋在那裡，它就在那裡。
把看不見的橋和信心綁死：不是先有路再敢走，而是先敢走，路才出現。適合所有要從零開始的事。

用最平常的口氣介紹一個可怕怪物，反差本身就是笑點。

半開玩笑地介紹一個很嚇人的東西時用；真遇到危險這麼說，別人會以為你不當回事。

下一章 · 13to the count of three數到三這場戲：公路飆車施法攔路意思是「最壞能壞到什麼程度」。面對害怕的事，先把它想清楚，往往會發現沒那麼可怕，這句常用來給自己或別人壯膽。
I'm just saying。說錯話或提意見後想緩和氣氛，補一句 I'm just saying，等於「別當真、我就是提一嘴」。
本義是無底洞，掉進去就出不來；也常比喻填不滿的窟窿，比如開銷是個 bottomless pit，就是永遠填不滿。
意思是「瞬間分解、化為烏有」。指東西一下子碎掉、消失，語氣比 break 更徹底，常用來形容被徹底摧毀。
There you go。別人做對了一步、有點進步時，說一句 There you go，就是「就是這樣、做得對」，鼓勵意味很強。
