給同伴打氣、把眼前的困難說小一點時用；對當事人正經歷的傷痛說會顯得輕慢。

可以說 the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward，也可以把順序倒過來說 the bigger the reward, the bigger the risk。勸人冒險或提醒謹慎時都好用。
指「進退兩難的處境」，也就是被逼到很棘手的位置。戲裡說 You put us in a tight spot，就是怪對方把大家拖進了麻煩裡。
不完全是。它是比喻「在這張桌上還有一席之地」，指還有資格參與、分得一份。戲裡是頭兒提醒對方別忘了自己是誰、還能留下就該知足。
意思是「要付出代價」。想要好結果，就得接受相應的風險或犧牲，常用來說機會、成功、自由這些抽象的東西，比如 Everything comes at a price。
