H 第一天上運鈔車，同事一路帶他熟悉線路，說這份工得慢慢 dial in（上手），跑線還會撞上難纏的人和 hostile territory（充滿敵意的地盤），偶爾一句 What has the world come to（這世道都成什麼樣了）就道盡這行的無奈。想學帶新人和吐槽危險工作的說法，這幾句都用得上。
這行太難：we're the prey（我們是獵物）

H 第一天上運鈔車，老同事一路帶他熟悉流程，說這份活得慢慢上手，一句 It'll take you a while to dial in（要慢慢上手）給他打預防針。對方還丟擲 Do you have any idea how dangerous this job can be（你知道這活能有多危險嗎），把風險挑明。大家給這份工的自嘲是 We ain't the predators, we're the prey（我們不是獵手，是獵物）——被人盯上的永遠是押運員。中間還穿插跑線時的閒聊，說到最難搞的人和地盤，用 hostile territory（充滿敵意的地盤）形容。想學怎麼帶新人、怎麼自嘲一份危險工作，這些說法都能直接搬。

你知不知道這活兒能有多危險？
用一句反問把危險先砸到對方臉上：不是介紹工作，而是先問你有沒有底。句子完整，換個物件就能複用。

想提醒別人低估了某件事的風險時用；對上級或客戶這樣反問會顯得挑釁。

可以說 dial in。It'll take you a while to dial in 就是「你得花點時間才能上手、把狀態調準」。
字面是「充滿敵意的地盤」，日常也用來誇張地說某個地方難待、不好惹，比如一群不好對付的人聚在一起。
意思是「我最不想碰上的事」，常帶抱怨語氣。the last thing I needed was the Feds in my face 就是「我最不想被聯邦探員堵上門」。
常見，predator 和 prey 是一對，「獵手」對「獵物」。說 we're the prey 就是自嘲處在被獵取、被盯上的弱勢一方。
