這裡指「好轉、恢復通暢」，多形容天氣轉晴或狀況好轉。原文說延誤 it'll clear up in about a half hour，就是「大概半小時就能恢復正常」。
意思是「稍等、待命」，讓某人先等著別動。原文 Taxi clearance. Stand by 就是「滑行許可，稍等」。無線電、客服、現場指揮裡都常聽。
