飛機上，乘客用機載電話打給家人，說 We can't get through to the cockpit.（我們聯絡不上駕駛艙）。有人掀開簾子去看，回來只丟下一句 See if he has a pulse. Is he breathing?（看看他還有沒有脈搏，還有呼吸嗎）。get through（聯絡上）和 has a pulse（有脈搏）都是劇裡最真實的求生用語，打電話、報急事時用得上。
打不通駕駛艙：We can't get through to the cockpit.（聯絡不上）
get through to 聯絡上、接通contact the pilot 聯絡飛行員bomb strapped around his waist 腰上綁著炸彈
這是《93航班》裡最揪心的一段。乘客在機上用機載電話聯絡家人，可電話怎麼都接不通駕駛艙，一句 We can't get through to the cockpit.（我們聯絡不上駕駛艙）道出了失控。有人掀開布簾走到前艙，回來報告說飛行員倒在駕駛艙外的地板上，還追問 See if he has a pulse. Is he breathing?（看看他還有沒有脈搏，還有呼吸嗎）。空乘想穩住大家，說 Everything's gonna be fine.（一切都會好的），可誰都聽得出這是硬撐。這段戲的 get through（聯絡上）、has a pulse（有脈搏）、stab（捅、刺）都是很實用的說法，打電話、轉述突發狀況時用得上。
A1–C2 是歐標等級。點一個等級後，比它高的卡片會變淡，播放到那裡不會自動暫停。
“Let us see the passenger. Just the passenger.”
讓我們看看那名乘客。就看看乘客。
重複 Just the passenger 是在劃界限：只救人，不鬧事，剋制裡全是緊張。

Let us 連讀成 let's，passenger 重讀，Just the 輕讀再強調。

沒有，沒人答話。我們聯絡不上駕駛艙。
兩句把希望掐斷：沒人應，也進不去，絕望全落在 can't get through 上。

說明跟某人或某部門聯絡不上時用；正式書面裡換成 cannot reach。

Listen 重讀短促，pilots are 連讀，ground 降調砸下。

“The stewardess just said the pilots aren't flying the plane.”
乘務員剛說，飛行員沒有在駕駛飛機。
把最恐怖的結論用最平靜的轉述說出來，越像轉述越讓人發冷。
X just said (that) ...
轉述別人剛說的話、尤其是壞訊息時用；加 just 表示剛剛。
She said the pilots are not at the controls. ／ According to the attendant, nobody is flying.

just said 弱讀，aren't flying 連讀，plane 收尾放平。
The nurse just said the doctor is on the way. 護士剛說醫生正在趕來。
“She saw two bodies in front of the cockpit on the floor.”
她看到駕駛艙前的地板上躺著兩具屍體。
用 bodies 而不是 pilots，冷冰冰一個詞把生死說死，衝擊最大。

轉述現場看到的慘狀時用；對家屬要換成更委婉的說法。
She saw two people lying outside the cockpit. ／ Two bodies were on the floor by the door.
正式
saw two 連讀，in front of 連滑，on the floor 放慢收尾。
They found two bodies near the wreck. 他們在殘骸附近發現了兩具屍體。
下一章 · 14national emergency全國緊急狀態這場戲：下令全國空域停飛「接通、聯絡上」。臺詞裡 We can't get through. 就是「我們打不通、聯絡不上」，後面常跟 to，比如 get through to the cockpit 聯絡上駕駛艙。
has a pulse。臺詞裡 See if he has a pulse. Is he breathing? 就是「看看他還有沒有脈搏，還有呼吸嗎」，急救場景常聽到。
「捅、刺」。臺詞裡 Did he stab him? 就是問「他捅了他嗎」，名詞形式 stabbing 常出現在新聞裡指持刀傷人。
co-pilot。臺詞裡 the pilot and the co-pilot 就是「機長和副駕駛」；co- 這個字首表示「共同、副的」。
是在安慰別人、也是給自己打氣時說「會沒事的」。臺詞裡空乘說 Everything's gonna be fine.，其實是在硬撐，gonna 是 going to 的口語寫法。
What's happening? 臺詞裡 Stewardess, what's happening up there? 就是「乘務員，前面出什麼事了」，想追問突發狀況時很直接。
