下一章 · 07take something the wrong way誤會成惡意這場戲：自我診斷時坦白有了孩子buy a story 是「相信一套說法」，bought this 就是「真信了這套」。臺詞裡說 I can't believe how long I bought this，意思是「真不敢信我信了這麼久」，帶懊悔。
字面是「怪胎秀」，用來罵人「異類、怪物」。臺詞裡說 the freak show is on the other side of the lake，等於讓亮翅滾到湖對岸去，是很重的排擠。
指一窩裡最弱小的幼崽，也引申為「弱者、小不點」。臺詞裡說 because you are a runt，是用身體大小給人貼標籤，語氣很傷人。
That's not your decision to make。decision to make 指「該由誰拍板的決定」，整句表示對方的許可權不夠。臺詞裡用它回擊對方擅自替自己隱瞞。
字面是「多謝你話這麼多」，實際是在怪對方多嘴、把事情搞砸。臺詞裡緊接著 Now I know who to eat first，反諷意味立刻明明白白。
