尚恩的診室裡，威爾對著牆上的畫直接開炮，說它是 paint-by-number（按數字塗色、沒原創）；尚恩引他一句 any port in a storm（風暴裡哪個港口都得進），戳他當年為什麼去當心理醫生。威爾轉頭拿尚恩妻子開刀，尚恩翻臉撂下一句 I will end you（我要你的命）。想把嘴仗打到對方破防，就看這段。

這是威爾和尚恩的第二次見面。威爾先衝著尚恩的歷史書單開火，說那些書都沒用；看到牆上的畫，他更不客氣，直接說這是 a real piece of shit（一坨爛畫），還點評它的線條、構圖，認定是 Winslow Homer 的 rip-off（拙劣模仿），最後一句「這是 paint-by-number（按數字塗色、沒有原創）」把尚恩逗樂。尚恩用 any port in a storm（風暴裡哪個港口都得進）反將一軍，猜威爾就是因為自己正處在風暴裡才懂這些。威爾被戳中，轉而去戳尚恩的痛處，問他是不是娶錯了女人；尚恩當場警告 watch your mouth（嘴巴放乾淨），再甩出一句 I will end you（我要你的命）。時間一到，門外的人問尚恩還好嗎，也說不介意他不再見威爾。
