週日早上，喬騎車回來，一身汗還帶著宿醉，被家裡一句句打趣。他自嘲 I'm breaking the law, officer（我在違法呢，警官），又說騎了一上午 I could do with a walk（正好想走走）。瑪麗要走了，臨走前滿口客套。想學英式家常閒聊、送客寒暄的英語，很實用。

hangover。有人問喬是不是熬夜了，他只回一個詞 Hangover，就是「宿醉」，簡單又地道。
指「明擺著的事」，bleeding 在這裡只是加強語氣。To state the bleeding obvious 就是「把明擺著的話再說一遍」，常帶點自嘲。
