用最嚴肅的口氣說出最荒唐的自我吹噓，笑點全在落差。它也是一句好用的誇張句式：只要把 lethal weapons 換成別的名詞，就能花式自誇。

誇張地自誇某項本事時用，適合朋友間玩笑；對陌生人或面試場合說會顯得離譜。

口語
hands are 連讀，lethal weapons 兩詞重讀。
Careful with that pan; my cooking is a lethal weapon. 小心那口鍋，我做的菜可是致命武器。

就是「說正題、別繞彎子」。別人鋪墊太久、遲遲不講重點，你可以直接說一句 For heaven's sake, come to the point，既不耐煩又不算失禮。
with the greatest respect。這個說法表面客氣，實際是先禮後兵，後面往往跟著一句反駁或不同意見；比如 With the greatest respect, I heard every word you said.
它更接近「招惹、跟某人過不去」。「別跟我動手」就可以說 Don't tangle with me. 語氣偏強硬，常用來放狠話。
沒有。它是個表示不信的口語嘆詞，相當於「才怪、胡扯」。別人說了你不信的話，直接一句 My foot! 比 say something is untrue 更自然。
There's no need to tell me. 別人提醒你早就知道的事，可以用這句頂回去。劇情裡有人從沙發上摔下來，一邊說 I know I fell off the sofa，一邊補一句 There's no need to tell me。
因為瑪麗亞頭上那一下來自壁櫥門的球形把手，說明當時有人藏在壁櫥裡；而壁櫥裡的指紋，正好指向房間裡被問話的房主。
