街頭有人一邊推銷自己翻錄的錄影帶，一邊說 95% of the brain is unused（大腦有百分之九十五沒被用到）這種謊話只會 frustrate man（讓人沮喪）。轉頭有人請路人抽 oblique strategies（迂迴策略）卡，一張寫著 Withdrawing in disgust is not the same thing as apathy（厭惡地抽身而退，和冷漠不是一回事）。

街頭有人放自己翻錄的錄影帶，一邊斷言 Each individual has this absurd notion（每個人都抱著這麼個荒唐的念頭），迷信 dormant potential（沉睡的潛力）這種謊話。他講到片子裡主角打爛攝像機那段，還誇 Every action is a positive action（每一個行動都是積極的行動），感慨 What could be better than a short, uncomplicated life（還有什麼比一段短暫、簡單的人生更好呢）。另一邊，有人攤開 oblique strategies（迂迴策略）卡，說 No two cards are alike（沒有兩張卡是一樣的），抽到的可能是 Withdrawing in disgust is not the same thing as apathy（厭惡地抽身而退，和冷漠不是一回事），也可能是 It's not building a wall, but making a brick（這不是在砌一堵牆，而是在做一塊磚）。
