give someone a ring，ring 在這裡是「電話」的意思。give us a ring 就是「給我們打個電話」，比 call us 更口語，英式尤其常用。
look like a ghost，字面是「像個鬼」，形容臉色慘白、沒血色。臺詞裡說 You look like a ghost in this one，就是「這張照片裡你活像個鬼」。
