這是《阿拉丁》開篇最熱鬧的街頭戲。阿拉丁帶著猴子阿布在阿格拉巴集市上順手牽羊，把偷來的麵包分給餓肚子的孩子，轉頭就被攤主和衛兵盯上，只能靠鑽巷子、翻屋頂甩開追兵。路上他碰見微服出門的茉莉，為一件 family heirloom（傳家寶）和一隻手鐲拌嘴；有人警告他別多話，他回一句 nose out of it（少管閒事）。那首邊跑邊唱的 One Jump Ahead，唱的就是他總要 one jump ahead（領先一步）才能活下去。想學講追逐、拌嘴，或者乾脆地叫人別插手，這些說法都值得記。

說 nose out of it，語氣不客氣，叫對方別插手你的事。片中有人警告對方把鼻子收回去，就是 keep your nose out of it。
family heirloom，指祖上傳下來、值錢的物件。臺詞裡有人拿它當藉口，說這是一件很值錢的傳家寶。
對，hit the bottom 就是跌到最低、最慘的地步。歌裡唱 Aladdin's hit the bottom，是旁人拿他的落魄開玩笑。
