Emmet's perfect morning runs on a self-help manual: greet everyone, exercise, shower, get dressed, stay happy. The TV tells him to follow the rules "or you'll be put to sleep," which he cheerfully ignores until a small doubt surfaces and he shrugs it off.
What happens
Emmet, an ordinary Lego construction worker, wakes up and follows his "Instructions to fit in": breathe, greet the day, exercise, shower, dress, and eat breakfast. On TV, President Business praises rule-followers and warns that anyone who disobeys will be "put to sleep."
