The service

WinkLingo lets you learn English from short clips, long-form chapters with line-by-line subtitles and study notes, phrase pages, and spaced review. The interface is in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Spanish. We may add, remove, or change features.

Accounts

You are responsible for the Google account or email address you use to sign in. Do not share a paid membership so that someone else can use it.

Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation

During launch the library is free to watch. Pro is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year; start yearly before Nov 7, 2026 and you pay the early-bird $29.99 and keep renewing at that price. Lifetime is $299, paid once; before Nov 7, 2026 the first 200 founding members pay $99.99. Prices are in US dollars.Monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel; Lifetime never renews. Alipay can buy Lifetime, or a one-time year pass at the yearly price that does not renew. Monthly and yearly auto-renewal currently take a card.

To cancel a renewing plan, open Settings, then My membership, then Manage subscription. Cancellation stops the next charge. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.

Refunds

To ask for a refund, email [email protected]. We handle the request under Stripe's rules. Emailing us is how a request starts. These terms do not promise a refund in every case.

Acceptable use

Use the site for personal language study. Do not try to break, overload, or bypass access to the service. Do not republish the clips as a film library, and do not present them as a substitute for watching the original.

Intellectual property

The films and series remain the property of their rights holders. Clips are here for language study, with subtitles and notes. The WinkLingo name, the interface, and the study text we write belong to us. Notes you write stay yours.

Disclaimer

The site is a study aid. It is not a school, and it is not affiliated with the studios or distributors behind the films. We provide it as available. We do not guarantee that every line, definition, or timestamp is free of error.

Governing law

These terms follow the law of the place where the operator is established. This page does not name a country or region.
