Who we are
WinkLingo (眨眼英语) is a website for learning English from movie and series clips. Short clips are searched by the spoken line. Long-form chapters include line-by-line subtitles and study notes. Phrase pages collect one expression across many films.

How you learn
Hear the original line, then read the subtitle and the scene around it. Tap a word when you need the meaning. Save a line into spaced review and hear it again a few days later.
How this differs from a subtitle site
A subtitle site lays out the whole script so you can look up a word. It does not show why the line is said that way. We keep short excerpts for language study, with the scene and the notes, and we do not offer full-movie downloads or a substitute for watching the original.
