下一章 · 06no time to lose一刻也不能耽擱這場戲：講世界被牆隔開的來歷字面是「把表演放下」，意思是別再裝了、說真話吧。臺詞裡 you can drop the act with me 就是「在我面前不用演了」，用來戳穿對方假裝的樣子。
Come with me。它是短命令，越急越省字。臺詞裡 Come with me if you wanna not die（跟我走，如果你不想死的話）還順手加了個嚇人的理由，催得人不敢不動。
against the instructions，字面就是「跟說明書對著來」。它把「不合規矩」說得很具體，適合用在一切按規矩辦事的人身上，帶點好笑的較真感。
cut off。臺詞裡 cut him off on Elm（在榆樹街截住他）指攔住去路、切斷路線。開車、追人、堵路口都能用，比 stop him 更強調在路上攔下。
