湯米先拿八十磅的吊包考驗新搭檔凱文，兩人從巖壁頂端下降，屁股底下瞬間三千英尺。凱文說自己不懂的都得從零學，只能 go on faith（全憑信念）相信這是湯米的世界；面對那段光滑巖面，唯一辦法就是「飛身躍過去」，這個動作叫 dyno（動態飛跳）。聊信任搭檔就用得上。

figure out。意思是「琢磨出、搞明白」，常接 how to 或 what。片裡凱文在學著 figure out 怎麼用上升器。
dyno，也叫 dynamic move。指夠不到下一個點，只能靠身體彈跳一把抓住。片裡那段光滑巖面就靠這個動作越過。
harness 作名詞是攀巖安全帶，作動詞是「藉助、汲取」，比如 harness someone's optimism 就是借一點別人的樂觀給自己打氣。
意思是「搭建、安裝」，可搭帳篷、搭吊帳、架裝置。片裡說 set up a portaledge，就是把吊帳架起來。
