可以說 Would it kill you to say something? Would it kill you 就是「做某事會死啊」，用來抱怨對方連一點小事都不肯做。
是挖苦。字面是「話的噴泉」，實際形容對方話多得不得了，這裡卡爾是反著用，諷刺蓋爾一路上幾乎一聲不吭。
可以說 call back money。賴利告訴傑裡，申請單上的車架號對不上，他只能把錢收回來，這裡指貸款方撤資、追回已放出的錢。
send something over 多了 over，強調「送過去、送過來」，是口語裡更自然的說法。傑裡答應讓手下把檔案影印件給他送過去。
