哈里在遊樂場正玩得起勁，一個叫肯的陌生男人湊上來，句句戳穿他沒敢對自己承認的事——因為肯就是他寫的角色。肯說 I'm just you, thinly disguised（稍加偽裝），又點破他一直在 play around（在外面亂來）。想聽懂「嘴上不認、心裡有數」那類臺詞，值得反覆聽。

下一章 · 10all mapped out全都安排好了這場戲：被新歡頂替意思是「稍加偽裝、幾乎沒遮」。臺詞裡肯對哈里說 I'm just you, thinly disguised. 就是「我就是你，只是稍稍偽裝了一下」。形容作品裡那個一看就知道原型是誰的角色特別貼切。
說 have a crush on someone。臺詞裡 I even thought he might have a crush on you. 意思是「我甚至以為他可能暗戀你」。日常聊八卦、說心動最常用這個。
口語說 play around。臺詞裡 I knew he played around. 意思是「我知道他在外面拈花惹草」。說伴侶不忠、揹著人亂來，就用這個說法。
是 family man。臺詞裡 Since when are you such a family man? 帶點諷刺，意思是「你什麼時候變得這麼顧家了？」夸人顧家，或者反著用都行。
更口語的是 can't stand。臺詞裡 I can't stand that stuff. 就是「我受不了那玩意兒」。討厭一種味道、討厭某個人，都能用。
