夜裡趕路，隊友 Leo 一心拍影片髮網上，邁克爾忍無可忍，直接問 The phone or the race?（手機還是比賽？）。這時隊伍已經 hours behind（落後好幾個小時），奇基只剩一條好腿，還有條流浪狗一路跟著。隊內翻臉、催進度、談選擇，這些說法都實用。

下一章 · 12one less mouth to feed少一張嘴要養活這場戲：狗預警懸崖救了全隊意思是「落後好幾個小時」，用來形容賽程、進度比對手慢很多。臺詞 We're already hours behind 就是「我們已經落後好幾個小時了」。後面常接具體時間，如 two hours behind。
可以說 keep a sharp eye，後面常接 out for something。臺詞 Well, keep a sharp eye 就是「那就把眼睛放亮點」，提醒人別大意、多看著點。
字面是「手機才是比賽」，是利奧的反駁：對他而言，把過程拍下來發到網上，比名次更重要。這句也點出他和邁克爾對比賽的理解完全不同。
可以說 run circles around someone。臺詞 he'd run circles around you with one leg 就是「他就算只有一條腿也能把你甩在後面」。這句用來誇張地比較兩個人本事差很多。
是很重的粗口，相當於「滿嘴胡話、全是放屁」，只能對很熟的人或吵架時用。臺詞 you're so full of shit, Michael 就是罵邁克爾滿嘴沒實話，正式場合千萬別用。
