The story so far
Everything you need before watchingThe doors finally open. Crew tell everyone to take only carry-ons, plus the blankets and pillows; checked bags stay in the hold. Nobody knows where they are being taken. Inside, Gander airport looks frozen in the Cold War: soldiers, forms, Citizenship, Purpose of your trip, Destination. One man is pulled aside. Pay phones overflow until staff fake an out-of-order sign to load the buses. Then the road is pitch-dark, and a pilot who has flown this sky a hundred times realizes how remote this island is.
