賽場外的停車場裡，兩人正面攤牌：一個要接走兒子，還要那筆津貼；另一個乾脆讓步——錢可以給你，但兒子得留下讀完高中。一句 return the favor（還這個人情）點出這段舊賬，一句 we'll see about that（咱們走著瞧）把話撂下。談條件、放狠話時，這兩句都用得上。

這是《雙贏》裡一場火藥味十足的攤牌。比賽結束後，停車場裡兩人對上了：一個質問「你怎麼在這兒」，說自己只是想看兒子摔跤；另一個指責她的出現毀掉了孩子本可改變命運的機會。話題很快轉到錢——她要那筆一千五的津貼，說是自己應得的；他先反問，隨後提出條件：津貼可以讓給你，但凱爾必須留在他們這兒讀完高中。對方不答應，他就撂下狠話：那就拿不到錢。最後兩人互不相讓，一句「咱們走著瞧」收場。語言上，return the favor（還這個人情）指以牙還牙，we'll see about that（咱們走著瞧）是不服氣的回應，on one condition（有一個條件）用於提條件。

說 we'll see about that，表示不服氣、不認這個結果，事情還沒完。臺詞裡被斷了錢的人就用它撂狠話。吵架、被威脅時都能用。
說 on one condition，在答應對方之前先把前提擺出來。臺詞裡就是同意讓出津貼，但要求孩子留下讀完高中。談判、幫忙前談條件都常用。
是孩子和錢：對方要接走兒子，還要那筆一千五的津貼，認為自己應得；這邊願意讓出錢，只求孩子留下讀完高中，雙方誰也不讓步。
英文是 He treated me like shit，一句就交代了這段父子舊傷。對方隨即反問「所以你就來還這個人情」，把傷害代代相傳的意味挑明瞭。
