不說道理，只擺結果：亂不是外界給的，是自己一手造出來的。短語式的句子，反而最重。

指出某人的困境源於自己時用，語氣沉。

你喜歡這樣的生活嗎？你夢寐以求的那種生活？
把「成功」當作一個問題丟回去：你追到的夢，真的是你想要的嗎？重複 life 並把 dream 壓上重音，一句話把整部片子的主題從美食拉到了人生。

反問對方追到手的東西是否真是他想要的時用，語氣逼人；安慰人時不要用，會像審問。

there is no way to avoid，也可以說 no way to avoid。後面接具體的事，比如 no way to avoid the mess（這一團糟躲不掉）。
forsake 更重，指徹底拋棄、捨棄對你重要的人或東西，帶感情色彩；give up 只是放棄。電影裡用 forsaken everything 說一個人為追夢拋下了一切。
the mess you make of your life。make of 是「把……變成、弄成」，所以整句就是質問對方把人生經營成了什麼樣子。
