說 get through something，比如 get through this（挺過這一關）。臺詞 how I'm getting through it 就是「我是怎麼撐過來的」，常用來講撐過病痛、低谷。
指「護著家人、尤其是孩子的本能」。streak 在這裡是「某種性格傾向」，臺詞 there's a protective streak in you 就是「你身上有股護犢的本能」。
說 make sense to someone，比如 Does that make any sense to you?（我這麼說你能明白嗎？）。也可以說 make sense of something，指把某事理清楚。
不是「生氣」，而是「瘋了、腦子不正常」。臺詞 people think I'm mad 就是「大家覺得我瘋了」，這是英式英語裡很常見的用法。
