remind me of you。看到某人身上有另一個人的影子時用。戲裡母親說丹尼 He's starting to remind me of you，就是「他開始讓我想起你了」，帶著擔心。
give someone a heart attack。字面是「讓人心臟病發作」，誇張地說某人把別人氣得不行。臺詞裡說亂扔材料 give you a heart attack，就是「把你氣出毛病」。
還有雙關。sheet 可以指紙張或床單，臺詞裡獄友故意把「翻材料」說成跟床單有關，拿這個雙關開玩笑，既自嘲也消解緊張氣氛。
字面是「小天使」，常用來形容孩子乖巧可愛，也可以帶點反諷。臺詞裡 He's not gonna be a little angel forever 就是「他不可能永遠這麼乖」，暗示遲早會惹事。
