breathe it in，就是深吸一口。breathe in 是吸氣，breathe it in 則是把眼前的氣味、空氣吸進去。
die of 多用於疾病、飢寒、絕望這類內部原因，die from 多用於外傷、事故等外部原因，口語裡兩者也常混用。
向陌生人討錢時說 spare a coin，比如 Spare a coin, sir?（先生，賞個銅板吧？），也可以說 spare some change。
字面是「小小一趟遊覽」，可這趟船其實是讓議員親眼見識販奴船，越輕描淡寫，後面的真相越狠。
