下一章 · 17a higher path更高尚的路这场戏：车里给新人洗脑字面是「这行的本性」，意思是这行就这样，脏事也没办法。阿隆佐拿它给灭口、动手找理由，等于说「别大惊小怪，规矩就是如此」。
pull the trigger，本义是扣扳机，引申为到了真要动手那一步。阿隆佐用它逼杰克表态：不敢扣，就别在这队里混。
激将法，意思是「你有没有那个胆」。阿隆佐说 I thought you were man enough，是明夸暗损，逼杰克证明自己。
