在车里，杰克说他要的是公道，阿隆佐却只认 street justice（街头公道）。他抛出自己那套道理：要保护羊群，就得抓住狼，而且 it takes a wolf to catch a wolf（只有狼才能抓到狼）。想学老警察怎么用英语讲道理、怎么压人，这段金句最多。

行动之后，杰克和阿隆佐在车里吵了起来。杰克坚持要抓人、要公道，阿隆佐却看不上他那套，说垃圾就该交给收垃圾的，他们是职业钓手，只 go after the big fish（钓大鱼）。他讲出自己那套街头哲学：好人总是先死，挨流弹的也是他们，所以要保护羊群就得抓住狼，而且 it takes a wolf to catch a wolf（只有狼才能抓到狼）。吵到后来，阿隆佐还拿履历压人，说 My record speaks for itself（我的履历自己会说话）。想学用英语讲道理、反驳和抬杠，这几句都很地道。

下一章 · 09doesn't fly行不通这场戏：逼毒贩供出上家字面是「只有狼才能抓到狼」，引申为「以恶制恶、同类才能制服同类」。剧里阿隆佐用它给自己那套越线办案找理由。
go after the big fish，也可以说 a big fish，指重要目标。剧里阿隆佐说 We go after the big fish，就是「我们只抓大鱼」，看不上小角色。
speaks for itself。剧里 My record speaks for itself 就是「我的履历自己会说话」，用来堵别人的嘴，意思是成绩摆在那儿不用多说。
stray bullets。剧里 They the ones catch the stray bullets 就是「挨流弹的就是他们」，指无辜的人也会被殃及。
指「横冲直撞、快打快冲」，不讲究章法。剧里阿隆佐讽刺杰克想 run and gun，说他那套只适合待在巡警队。
