下一章 · 07take it too hard太往心里去这场戏：皇帝嫌歌剧音符太多「让我哑了」。萨列里觉得自己一心想为上帝歌唱，上帝却封住了他的声音——不是真的不能说话，是写不出、唱不出心里的音乐。用来形容被夺走天赋、有口难言都行。
deny me the talent。deny 不只「否认」，还有「不给、剥夺」的意思；deny somebody something 就是不给某人某样东西，比如 deny him the chance（不给他机会）。
是。字面是「消息走得快」，就是中文的「坏事传千里」那类意思，不带贬义。片里萨列里说 News travels fast in Vienna，就是感慨维也纳这点八卦瞒不住人。
意思是「有品位的女人」。a person of + 名词是很地道的说法，用来形容一个人有某种特质，比如 a man of few words（话不多的人）、a woman of taste（有品位的女人）。
不全是。这里不是一起走路，而是「相配、并存」。Looks and talent don't always go together 就是说长相和才华不一定同时拥有。说两样东西搭配得好、常一起出现，都能用。
