酒吧打烊，查理在趕人，巴克斯特卻不想走，自嘲 Might as well go to mine. Everybody else does（乾脆去我那兒吧，別人都去我那兒）。剛認識的麥克杜格爾太太跟他回家，他一本正經地警告她：you are now alone with a notorious sexpot（你現在正跟一個出了名的萬人迷獨處）。想學搭訕調情的開場，這段又快又好笑。

Everybody else does（乾脆去我那兒吧，反正別人都去我那兒）；剛在酒吧認識的麥克杜格爾太太就跟著他回了公寓，一進門感嘆 This is snugsville（這兒可真溫馨）。巴克斯特鄭重其事地警告她 you are now alone with a notorious sexpot（你現在正跟一個出了名的萬人迷獨處），還說自己早把遺體 promised my body to the Columbia Medical Center（捐給了哥倫比亞醫學中心），光想想就讓人 goose bumps（起雞皮疙瘩）。想學搭訕、吹牛、調情時的地道俏皮話，這些句子全是範本。

說 goose bumps。原句 Sort of gives you goose bumps just to think about it，就是「光想想就讓人起雞皮疙瘩」，既可形容害怕也可形容感動。
字面是「絕不是我的朋友」。巴克斯特說自己有女朋友，緊接著補一句 she is no friend of mine，意思是那姑娘只是名義上的「女朋友」，關係早就沒了。
說 junior executive。巴克斯特自我介紹 C.C. Baxter. Junior executive...，就是「初級主管」，後面還加了「阿瑟·默裡舞蹈學校畢業生……情人」，越說越好笑。
是瑪吉生造的詞，意思是「溫馨小窩」。她一進公寓就感嘆 This is snugsville，把 snug（舒適溫馨）加個尾巴變成地名，語氣又誇張又可愛。
