下一章 · 02put my foot down堅決反對這場戲：為寶寶取名吵半天字面是「剁碎的肝」，是種不上臺面的配菜，所以 What am I, chopped liver? 就是自嘲「我算什麼，被當空氣嗎」。戲裡倫尼用它抱怨自己被無視。
可以說 out of left field，本指棒球裡從外野意外冒出來的球，引申為事情來得莫名其妙。戲裡問這個要孩子的念頭是不是 out of left field。
指「天生的壞種」，說一個孩子本性就不學好。戲裡倫尼怕收養會攤上 bad seed，還腦補孩子長大拿斧子劈人。
意思是「這個話題到此為止，不許再議」，有點強硬。戲裡倫尼說 Forget it. Subject is closed. 就是不想再談孩子的事。
就是「孕吐」，孕婦早期常有的反應。戲裡有人拿它調侃，說不想要孩子其實是不想孕吐。
