at one's wits' end。老師說 the teachers are at their wits' end，意思是老師們已經束手無策、一點辦法都沒有。常用複數 wits'，書面口語都行。
意思是「班上的活寶、愛搞笑的人」。老師罵布拉德 I know you think you're the class clown，就是「我知道你覺得自己是班上的活寶」，語氣裡全是不滿。
lose it。旁白說 I couldn't really blame Dad for losing it，就是「我也不能怪爸爸發火」。口語裡 lose it 多指一下子控制不住脾氣。
the last chance。劇裡說 this might be the last chance，就是「這也許是最後的機會」，後面還強調 the very last chance，加 very 語氣更重。
