不完全是。它更常指「聯絡上某人」，比如 she can get a hold of me 24/7 就是「她隨時都能聯絡上我」；指抓住實物時才解作抓住、拿到。
強調探員沒有真正的下班時間，隨時待命。漢森說這話既是背局裡的規矩，也在給新人立威：進了這行就別想分工作和生活。
