字面是“把頭擺正”，實際是保持清醒、別亂了陣腳。臺詞 All I can tell you is you keep your head on straight and you do your job 是一句很實在的勸告：穩住，把本職工作做好。
imminent，意思是某事馬上就要發生、已經很近了。臺詞 His next drop appears to be imminent 是說漢森的下一次交接看來就在眼前，appears to be 表示“看來、似乎”。
get something over with，意思是把一件不愉快的事儘快做完、了結掉。臺詞 It's your best shot at getting this over with 是說這是儘快把這件事了結的最好機會。
tail 本來是尾巴，作動詞是跟蹤、盯梢，tailed 就是被跟蹤。臺詞 I'm tailed all the time 意思是“我一直被人跟蹤”，用被動語態，常見於諜戰、偵探題材。
sweep 是掃，swept for electronic devices 指把場所或車輛從頭到尾掃一遍，排查有沒有竊聽器、電子裝置。臺詞 I'm having it swept 用了 have something done 的結構，表示“找人來做這件事”。
