终场前最后几秒，球队搬出一个花招：让 center eligible（中锋可接球），鹰眼从特拉普两腿间接过球，藏在肚子底下朝球门线走。有人夸一句 Not bad, huh（不赖吧），对手却在后面喊 Illegal（违例）。赌上一切的怪招，到底算不算，就看裁判。想学球场上的英语口令，这段最紧张。

special play 重读，破折号处停半拍再报术语。

意思是「值得一试」，就是说这事可能成，试了也不亏。戏里时间不多，大家决定冒险跑那个花招，一句 It's worth a try 就是「试一把」。
是 center eligible。正常规则下中锋不能接球，但球员后撤站开之后，裁判认定他成了合法接球员。戏里就靠这条规则打了个措手不及。
可以说 drop back，指开球前往后退。戏里说 who drops back one yard，就是那个球员在开球前突然后退一码，从而变成合法接球员，这就是整出花招的关键。
可以说 worth a try，也可以说 worth a shot。try 是尝试，这个说法表示「不妨试试」。戏里球队时间所剩无几，只能赌一把，就用了 It's worth a try。
它是加强语气的口语词，常见搭配有 what the hell、where the hell、get the hell back there。它本身不增加实际意思，只是把说话人的不耐烦、火气顶上去，正式场合最好别用。
