早上，鹰眼当着一群人的面，把弗兰克架在那里逼问私事：热唇 in the sack（在床上）怎么样，她的大屁股动不动，她叫不叫。弗兰克一句 Mind your own business（管好你自己的事）根本不管用，围攻没完没了，他当场 gone nuts（发疯），抓住鹰眼大喊 Get him off me（把他从我身上弄开），旁边的人还在起哄，提醒 Watch out for（当心）别中招。事后拿这件既成事实开玩笑，就说 a done thing（木已成舟）。想学怎么用英语挤对人、又怎么把话挡回去，这几句全用得上。

一句反常判断，把人物的失态点得清清楚楚。

发现某人反常时用；对不熟的人下这种判断容易失礼。

下一章 · 10see a man about a tooth含糊地告辞这场戏：牌桌上听出隐情这是口语里指「在床上、性方面」的说法，sack 本意是麻袋、床铺。戏里问 what Hot Lips was like in the sack，就是在打听她在那方面怎么样，属于很冒犯的荤话。
可以说 Mind your own business，也可以说得更冲一点 Mind your own damn business。它是回绝别人打听隐私时的固定说法，戏里弗兰克被问急了就用了这句。
口语里常说 go nuts 或 go mad。戏里有人喊 Frank Burns has gone nuts，直译就是「弗兰克·伯恩斯疯了」，用来形容一个人彻底失控、做出反常举动。
可以用 a done thing，也可以说 it's done。意思是事情已经办完、无法挽回。戏里那句 It's a done thing，就是「已经办妥了」，用来回应别人说「本来不必」。
nervous breakdown 是「精神崩溃」，多指撑不住、病倒那种严重状态；gone nuts 是口语的「疯了」，可以只是形容一时失控、发狂。戏里两个说法都出现了，轻重不一样。
