鹰眼和杜克堵在布莱克办公室，先是抱怨随军牧师赖在他们帐篷里，又替前线送来的伤员讨一位胸外科医生。亨利说别想 push me around（把我呼来喝去），可这俩人说 not for the world（说什么也不会）。想学怎么缠着上司办事又不撕破脸，这段够看。

鹰眼和杜克冲进布莱克中校的办公室，开口就要他把赖在帐篷里的 sky pilot（随军牧师）弄走。亨利说自己见多了这些花招，别想 push me around（把他呼来喝去），可两人立刻回一句 not for the world（说什么也不会）。紧接着他们又提起正事：前线伤员一批批送来，他们想要一位 chest cutter（胸外科大夫）。亨利先不肯，说没有哪个野战医院有胸外科医生，最后只说 I'll try（我试试）。这些说法在职场也用得上：push someone around 是仗势摆布别人，not for the world 表示态度坚决，raise Cain 则是大闹一场、大发雷霆。
A1–C2 是欧标等级。点一个等级后，比它高的卡片会变淡，播放到那里不会自动暂停。
“We have stuck it out for a whole week now. Pretty girl, eh?”

stuck it out 连读成串，for a whole week 放慢强调。

下一章 · 04make concessions做出让步这场戏：新医生为一颗橄榄较真这是军中俚语，字面是「天上的飞行员」，实际指随军牧师。戏里那两个人嫌牧师待在他们帐篷里碍事，就一口一个 sky pilot。
可以说 push someone around。push 是推，这个说法指仗着身份对别人发号施令、随意支使。戏里亨利说 you're not going to push me around，就是别想把他当软柿子捏。
意思是「说什么也不、绝无可能」，用来强烈否认。字面上是「就算拿全世界来换也不」，语气夸张。戏里有人用 not for the world would I push you around，表态绝不会对上司不敬。
有一个老说法叫 raise Cain，Cain 是《圣经》里的人物，这个说法就是大闹一场、暴跳如雷。戏里说的工会要来 raise all kinds of Cain，就是工会会闹得天翻地覆。
stuck it out 比 stay 更有「硬撑」的味道，强调忍着难受、把一段难熬的时间熬到底。戏里说 we have stuck it out for a whole week，就是抱怨已经硬熬了整整一星期。
