太空夏令营里，塞蕾娜指挥官正在讲怎么把望远镜送上空间站，台下两个孩子却只听见 wormhole（虫洞）起哄。NASA 嘴上说这次任务 a lot riding on（成败攸关），转头却想把这两个问题少年送上太空冲收视。想学怎么用英语讲成败押注、讲机会难得，这几句很实用。

用一串定语从句把虫洞讲得又科幻又庄重，气势很足。

下一章 · 03didn't make it没活下来这场戏：把宇航训练当成性爱字面是「很多押在上面」，意思是成败攸关、押注很重。台词 NASA has a lot riding on this mission 就是说这次任务关系重大，输不起。
说 make it through，比如 They'll never make it through the training 就是「他们绝对撑不过训练」，常用来讲难关、考验。
说 let you down，比如 We will not let you down 就是「我们不会让你失望的」，是表态、承诺时的常用句。
字面是「前排座位」，引申为最好的观看位置、能近距离全程看到。台词里说 you'll have a front row seat，就是「你们可以坐在前排全程观看」。
是双关。wormhole 是虫洞，他们把 worm 听成「虫子」，score 又有「得分、到手」的意思，所以 how worms score 既像问虫子怎么得分，又带点荤意味。
