pull over。原句說 a person pulled over，就是有個人把車停到了路邊。開車時讓別人靠邊停車，也可以直接說 Pull over。
它是「什麼的、諸如此類」的意思，放在舉了一兩個例子之後收尾，比 etc. 更口語。原句 We smoked a little marijuana and what have you，就是「抽了點大麻什麼的」。
都是 out of 加名詞，表示「用光了、沒有了」。out of work 是「失業、沒活兒幹」，out of gas 是「車沒油了」。同一結構還能說 out of time、out of money。
out of work，也可以說 out of a job。原句 All these people are supposedly out of work，就是「按理說這些人都沒活兒幹」。
